Welcome to the Lions of District 20-K1 website. It will highlight some of the amazing work done by our members in the Brooklyn and Queens communities, give updates about upcoming Lions and Leo events and projects, and inform about the various clubs and their meeting dates/locations.
Who are Lions? you may have seen our vibrant yellow vests at registration tables for the NYC Marathon or on the move at Stride events. Or could it be that you saw those vests on folks planting trees, feeding the hungry, helping to clean up after Hurricane Sandy or handing out trophies to kids who had just participated in a three-legged race?
In short, "Where there's a need, there's a Lion!" The Lions and Leos of District 20-K1 are ordinary men, women and youth who, like Lions and Leos worldwide, think that "kindness matters" and we care.
